Why I built Pocko
Hi, I'm Arshad. I'm building Pocko on my own, from India.
I'm good with computers, and I still get stuck. Every time I set up something new (a developer portal, an ads account, an API key) the buttons have moved since the last tutorial, and I lose an evening hunting for them. My parents get stuck on much smaller things, and they don't like asking twice.
So I'm building the buddy I wanted: one who sits on the screen, sees what I see when I ask, and points at the button instead of describing it. One who talks the way we talk at home, and remembers what I asked last week. And one who says "I'm not sure" instead of making something up.

He looks only when you ask
Pocko sees your screen only during a chat you start, with "Hey Pocko" or a shortcut. Close the chat and he stops looking. Your screenshots go to the AI to answer you, and we never store them.

Your memory stays encrypted
What Pocko remembers about you lives on your PC, encrypted with your Windows account. Turn memory off, or delete everything, whenever you like.

He doesn't guess
When he isn't sure, he says so. He'd rather tell you "I don't know" than point you at the wrong button. He's an AI and can make mistakes, so check anything important.
What Pocko can and can't do
He can
- Talk with you out loud, in English, Hindi or Hinglish.
- Look at your screen when you ask, and point at the exact button.
- Walk you through a task one step at a time, in Excel, Windows settings, websites and more.
- Remember what matters to you, and keep it on your PC.
- Open apps and click for you, if you switch on "use my computer".
He can't (yet)
- Run on a Mac or a phone: Pocko is for Windows 10 and 11.
- Work offline: the AI that thinks and talks for him runs on Google's servers.
- Watch your screen in the background. He only looks during a chat.
- Be right every time. He's an AI, so check anything important, like a payment or deleting files.

What is Pocko?
A small animated buddy who lives on your Windows screen. You talk to him out loud; when you ask, he looks at your screen, points at the exact button and walks you through what to do. He also remembers you, so you don't have to explain yourself every time.
Is Pocko only for Windows?
Yes. Pocko is built for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), and he needs a microphone and an internet connection.
Does he see everything on my screen?
Only during a chat you start. Then he sees the screen your mouse is on, so he can help. Your voice and screen go to Google's AI to answer you; we don't store them. His memory of you stays on your PC, encrypted. The waitlist keeps only what you type in the form.
Can I talk to him in Hinglish?
Haan! English, Hindi or Hinglish: talk the way you talk at home, and he answers the same way.
Does he do things for me?
Mostly he shows you, so you learn it for next time. If you switch on "use my computer", he can also open apps and click for you. He's an AI, so check anything important before it happens.
Is Pocko for kids?
A Pocko account is for grown-ups (18 and over). With you around, kids can play with him: simple games and stories. He's an AI, so stay close while young children use him.
How much will it cost?
Nothing during early access. Plans and prices come before the public launch, and we'll tell you first.
When can I get Pocko?
A small group is testing him now. People on the waitlist get in by waves, in the order they joined, and bringing 3 friends moves you into the next wave. We'll email you when it's your turn.
